According to the Palestinian Prisoners Association, Israeli occupation forces today arrested 18 Palestinians from different areas of the West Bank.
It said in a statement that Israeli forces arrested six Palestinians, including two former prisoners, in several raids in Ramalla and al-Birah areas.
One of the six detainees was identified as a former prisoner of the Jalzoon camp, another from Nileen village, west of Ramallah, and another from Bayt Reema village, northwest of Ramallah, and two other former prisoners. Resident of Silvad town east of Ramallah.
In the northern West Bank, the People’s Protection Association said Israeli occupation forces raided the Jenin refugee camp, where they arrested four Palestinians.
Local sources said the raid caused a violent confrontation, during which Israeli occupation troops shot the demonstrators, one of whom received a live bullet in the leg and tens of tears as a result of tear gas.
On the other hand, in the North Western Bank, the People’s Protection Association stated that Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians from Nablus and two others from Tubas.
The People’s Protection Agency said in the Bethlehem area in the southern West Bank that the Iida refugee camp north of the city was raided by an Israeli army, resulting in the arrest of a Palestinian.
It added that the Israeli army conducted two separate raids in the villages of Handza and Marah Rabah in the east and south of the city, resulting in the arrest of two others.
A former prisoner from the Hebron regime was arrested again.
