The Regent of Indragiri Hilir, Drs HM Wardan MP, inaugurated the 10th AHRA British Kampoeng which is located on Jalan Soebrantas Tembilahan on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.
In his remarks, the Regent said that Kampoeng English was expected to develop and accommodate Inhil’s young generation so they could speak English well.
“With the applied method, hopefully, it can make it easier to understand the language and speak English which is an international language,” said the Regent.
In addition, he hopes that it can also provide opportunities for all parties, especially those with achievements and who are less well off in the economy, to develop knowledge in English.
“I support and thank you for the birth of this British Kampoeng Indragiri Hilir, hopefully, it will be carried out professionally,” hoped the Regent who was the former Head of the Riau Provincial Education Office.
It is known, Kampoeng England has been established for 30 years in Riau Province and has 10 branches, including 8 in Pekanbaru City, 1 in Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency, and 1 in Tembilahan, Indragiri HilirRegency.
With the motto “3 Months Can Speak English,” Kampoeng Inggris has given birth to approximately 10,000 students for 30 years.
