Referring to the development of positive cases of COVID-19 in Indragiri Hilir, the task force team finally decided to no longer isolate patients whose rapid test results were reactive and symptomatic.
In the past, every patient who was reactive was immediately isolated, but now this is not done anymore.
As explained by the Director of the Puri Husada Tembilahan Regional Hospital, Saut Pakpahan, there are 146 beds that available for COVID-19 patients and 46 have been filled.
“In the past, we directly isolate the reactive results, now the reactive ones and there are no symptoms we ask for independent isolation while waiting for the results of the swab to come out,” said Saut.
However, for patients with reactive test results and symptoms, Saut said that his party would continue to isolate at the Hospital in Indragiri Hilir.
“For the reactive ones with moderate and severe symptoms, we still isolate them,” explained Saut.
