Have you heard about Cryonics?
Cryonics is the field of freezing the human body. And till a time arises where technology will be capable of bringing people back to life, they will revive them. And China leapfrogs the rule because they’ve taken a new approach.
The Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research, the one and only cryonics research centre in the world located in China, offer services like cryonic suspension. China is the first country that’s taking this on and Yinfeng is leading in this research area.
The researchers will be allowing human bodies to be preserved at freezing cold temperatures. And they also revolutionising organ transplants. And now, it’s getting pretty popular.
Like a movie, right ???
Aaron Drake, director of Yinfeng’s clinical response centre said they want to help people live for longer.
He also revealed that the human heart only gets six hours before it starts to die, but after its owner’s death but with cryonics, the time can be extended.
“You can imagine, if you could extend your heart after dying from six hours to six days, and the organ is stored in an ultra-cold environment and continues to have blood circulating through it, you will have all the time in the world. “
For the study, the cryonics Institute is teaming up with the University of Science and Technology of China in Anhui province to research on preservation of pancreatic cells, as well as with Shandong University’s Qilu Hospital on the preservation of ovarian cells.
