Zulaikhah Wardan said that a child’s success is determined by the family environment, when she becomes the Keynote Speaker in the Webinar Class Parents Share Episode 3, on Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.
The wife of Indargiri Hilir’s Regent, HM Wardan said that early age is the golden age for children.
“If children are given stimulants intensively from the environment, they can become good personalities. A pre-primary school is a place for children to explore themselves in playing.”
The online seminar was conducted through Zoom apps at the Local Television Studio (Gemilang Televisi) in the Regent’s Office Complex, Akasia street, Tembilahan – Indragiri Hilir.
In his explanation, Zulaikhah said, “Give freedom to our children. Do not force our will on the teacher, because a teacher is a facilitator.”
However, she added, determines the child’s success is the family environment.
A conducive family environment affects the development of socialization, creativity, morals, and increases the capacity of oneself in a measure close to perfection.
“The process of personal formation appears to be very dominant at an early age. The family is the first and foremost educational institution in the formation of identity. Guidelines for children’s behavior developed by parents are a common umbrella,” she explained.
She said proper family education is the main asset to shape children to be responsible, confident, to respect peace, to grow a sense of love, honesty, tolerance, simplicity, and unity.
