An American pop-singer Ariana Grande bought an 18th-century house in California, which was partially transported to the United States from the UK.
It is reported by the Los Angeles Times.
An old Tudor-style house with two bedrooms and three bathrooms was purchased from actress, comedian, and TV-presenter Ellen Degeneres and her wife Porsche de Rossi for USD 6.75 million.
The spouses themselves earlier bought a historic mansion in January 2020 for 3.6 million and managed to make significant repairs in it.
The peculiarity of the house is that it is built from parts of two barns of the 1700s, brought to California from the British county of Surrey in the 1980s.
The mansion consists of two parts, which are interconnected by a greenhouse. The house has a fireplace and an octagonal room equipped with a library.
Along with a Tudor-style historic mansion, Grande acquired a modern three-story house in Los Angeles for nearly $14 million. Its area is over 900 square meters.
