After proposing the Household Gas Network (Jargas) program in Siak Regency several years ago, finally BPH Migas (Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency) took action by helping to accelerate the realization of the program.
This was conveyed by the BPH Migas Committee Marwansyah Lobo Balia, during an audience between the Siak Regency Government and BPH Migas, in the Siak Regent room.
In addition, Marwansyah Lobo Balia said that he came to Siak Regency to help speed up the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) and gas, especially gas for the people.
“Of course this program has already been proposed by the Siak Regency Government, we as BPH Migas will help speed up its distribution,” said Marwansyah.
Specifically, we are here to discuss the city gas network program and the distribution of fuel, as well as the availability of fuel and gas in Siak Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, Siak Regent Acting Acting (Acting) Indra Agus Lukman explained that the Siak Regency Government in 2014 had proposed the construction of a household gas network in Siak Regency.
“Alhamdulillah, with the presence of BPH Migas in Siak, they will help accelerate the realization of the household gas network program in 2021”, said Indra.
For now, the first sub-district proposed to implement a household gas network program is Tualang District, which is designated for 4000 households.
“Tualang District was chosen because there is already a gas station and pipeline. After it is realized in Tualang District, it will be continued in Siak District”, explained the Acting Regent of Siak.
