CRISTIANO Ronaldo will continue to be touted as a football icon for the next 300 years. And he is currently working with a coach at Juventus, according to a former teammate.
Rui Costa played with Ronaldo for Portugal and campaigned with Juventus’ new manager Andrea Pirlo at AC Milan.
The 48-year-old former player considers the two to be a solid match because Pirlo understands more than anyone a striker like Ronaldo what needs to be done to shine.
“In 300 years we will continue to talk about Ronaldo because he is a unique person,” Costa said.
“He maintains the same level in different teams, different leagues and in the national squad. He is 35 years old, he has won many things over and over again. When he set a target, he achieved it,” Costa added.
Ronaldo, who visibly clashed with Sarri on multiple occasions, has already hinted at a happier Juventus camp under new coach Pirlo.
