Two residents in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau was arrested by the police after they were caught possessing 219 shabu grains and four packages of shabu on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020.
Both are AA (39) an entrepreneur and FR (36) a student.
The incident began at around 16:30 WIB, there was information from the public, a man with the initials AA often carried out narcotics transactions on Jalan Batang Tuaka Tembilahan Kota.
This information was reported to Kasat Res Narcotics AKP Bachtiar. Furthermore, ordered the Sat Res Narcotics members to carry out an investigation.
“At around 23:00 WIB, it was discovered that AA was at home and a member of the Narcotics Sat Res arrested AA’s brother. After a search was carried out which was witnessed by 2 two residents around the house found evidence of 219 ecstasy pills and 4 packages of crystal meth weighing 27.67 grams.
“From the interrogation, FR said that the evidence of narcotics is still in his house, which is located at Jalan Tanjung Harapan, Sungai Beringin,” he explained.
The Sat Res Narcotics members went straight to the address and a search was also witnessed by 2 local residents.
“And the results of the search found 1 packet of meth weighing 0.52 grams. Then the two perpetrators and their evidence were brought to the Indragiri Hilir Police Headquarters for further investigation, “he said.
