The Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan asked all camat to carry out Istiqosah Qubra in their respective sub-districts.
The Regent’s request was conveyed when he held a video conference in the multi media room of the Inhil Press Communication and Information Center on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2020.
The Regent explained, the implementation of Istiqosah Qubra was carried out based on input from prominent figures and scholars in an effort to prevent Covid-19 in Inhil.
“Apart from physical efforts, we are also making efforts to prevent this pandemic from continuing,” said the Regent.
The Regent also said that the implementation of Istiqosah Qubra will be carried out simultaneously at the Mosque and Mushalla in Inhil for three consecutive Fridays.
“The implementation will be carried out by Maghrib or before Isha, which is led by the Imam of the Mosque or religious leaders by still paying attention to health protocols,” said HM Wardan.
