At least, 13 students have taken to hospital by paramedics after they ate something.
The students at La Sainte Union Catholic School in Highgate, feeling unwell having eaten what they believed to be sweets at a school in Highgate Road, NW5.
Then, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to reports of an incident at 11.44am this morning, October 5, 2020. Luckily, none of the children are thought to be seriously ill.
The LAS said in a statement as cited by News24xx.com from the Daily Star: “We dispatched a number of resources including a clinical team leader, five ambulance crews, medics in cars and incident response officers. And 13 teenagers took to hospital.”
Now, the enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances. There have been no arrests. The school has not been evacuated.
