After marrying another wife in a Church ceremony in Chainda, a man that identified as Abraham Muyunda was caught by his first wife.
As cited News24xx.com from Kabwata Site and Service on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, Muyunda who works for Zambia Revenue Authority at Head Office is married to Caroline Mubita and they have three children between them.
Then, he decided to left their home in the morning and told to his wife that he had gone out of town on duty. But, in fact, he wants to marry another woman.
And the wedding took place at a Catholic Church in another city.
Thankfully, his wife Mrs. Muyunda was tipped by vigilant neighbors that her husband was about to wed with another woman in Chainda.
With her children, she rushed to the Church and interrupted the ceremony. She told that she was the legitimate wife of Mr. Muyunda in front of the Church and his illegal wife to be.
As a result, Mr. Muyunda has been handed over to the Matero Police station, where he is kept as the family discusses the way forward.
If he was convicted, he could face up to 7 years in prison.
