The Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Drs HM Wardan MP attended the Open Senate Session of Midwifery Diploma Three Study Program, Midwifery Academy (Akbid) of Husada Gemilang for the XI Midwifery Associate Graduation Ceremony for 2019/2020 Academic Year, on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020.
A total of 45 female students were graduated by the Foundation Advisor, Indra Muckhlis Adnan SH MH Ph.D. as Chair of the Senate, at Puri Cendana Tembilahan Building.
The graduation procession was also attended by the Chairman of the Foundation, Deputy Chairman of the Foundation, Director Akbid Husada Gemilang, Deputy Directors, lecturers, and staff.
Parents of graduates also witnessed this event and other invitations via zoom and live streaming on YouTube.
The students who had graduated were immediately sworn in, and inaugurated by the Director of Akbid Husada Gemilang, Haryati Astuti SSiT M.Kes.
Even though it was during a pandemic, the Foundation Advisor said that this condition did not reduce the sacredness of the graduation procession.
“We apologize for not being able to do much at this graduation. This is Covid-19 style graduation, that’s the condition today. My children develop knowledge, serve the community according to their current knowledge,” said H Indra Muckhlis Adnan to the audience. graduate.
Meanwhile, starting his welcome, the Regent congratulated the graduates and expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the 11th graduation of Akbid Husada Gemilang.
“This graduation has an important meaning because it is not only a success for graduates, but this momentum is a sign that there will be new midwives who will provide benefits in health services,” said the leader of the Land of Coconut World.
He also thanked Husada Gemilang for being a learning platform for female students who wanted to become midwives who would serve the community later.
“Hopefully this Akbid, which has been established since 2006, can progress and achieve its vision by giving birth to professional midwives,” he concluded.
