A mother-of-five was left in tears after a kind-hearted stranger left free food for her family on their doorstep.
The woman named Emma Frost, from Blacon, Chester received a food drop from the unnamed donor that left in her door.
Before the family heard a knock on the door, then her eldest child opened it and found two large bags of food shopping and five packed lunches for her kids. Her children, aged between 11 months and 16, were shocked.
And Emma moved to tears after she found a touching handwritten note.
A handwritten note read, “Hi Emma, I’m doing food drops in the community, and someone has put your name forward to receive one. I’m also doing kids packed lunches Monday – Friday. If you don’t want to receive the kids lunches just send me a message… Otherwise, I’ll drop them between 10.30 and 12 pm. No need to come to the door, I will drop, knock, and leave. A gift from our family to yours.”
Emma said the food will be an ‘amazing support’ to the family as they are currently self-isolating after her partner’s brother tested positive for coronavirus.
