Already in the fourth quarter, however, the progress for physical development at the Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUTR) only reached 37 percent.
This is as expressed by the Acting PUTR Inhil, Yusnaldi.
He said, the reason why at the end of the year the realization of development projects was still below the target, was because in the early 2020 period there were still discussions on the APBD changes.
“However, we have yet to calculate the conditions for the realization of all development projects in the field, and it was found that several projects had Provisional Hand Over (PHO),” said Yusnaldi.
He also predicts that by November 2020, the realization of development projects could reach 70 percent.
“It could reach 70 percent this November because there have been several PHO projects, such as normalization in several areas. The fix will be found in November,” he said.
Yusnaldi also hopes that in 2021, the Regional Budget (APBD) will not experience such a large deficit so that development in Inhil will continue to increase in line with the expectations of the community.
“If the budget continues to experience deficit every year, of course, it will also have an impact on development. Hopefully, this Covid-19 will end soon and development can run optimally,” he hoped.
