Danrem 031 / Wirabima carried out a Working Visit to Indragiri Hilir which was greeted with Malay customs, starting with the installation of a tanjak and continued with patting fresh flour by the Inhil Regent, HM Wardan.
The visiting of Danrem 031 / Wirabima, Brigadier General M Syech Ismed to Inhil accompanied by his wife, Fitri Rubianti, and Head of Press Head 031 / Wirabima, Lieutenant Colonel Caj Paham Priyono.
Using a helicopter, the Danrem and their entourage landed on the helipad of the Inhil Regent’s Office, Jalan Akasia Number 1 Tembilahan.
The arrival of the Danrem and entourage was greeted by the installation of a tanjak by the Regent and his wife along with Inhil Forkopimda elements.
The Dandrem also gave a pat of plain flour which was held at the official residence of the Inhil Regent.
In his remarks, the Regent welcomed the Danrem and their entourage. He explained several policies of the Inhil Regency Government which are in synergy with Kodim 0314 / Inhil so far.
“We do this plain flour apart as an expression of welcome, as well as an effort to preserve the Malay culture so that it will continue to the next generation,” concluded the Leader of the Land of Coconut World.
Meanwhile, Danrem stated that the purpose of this working visit was to meet face to face with Koramil personnel.
“Because I want to meet and see where my members work here. I also hope that we will always live in harmony and peace even in pandemic conditions like this,” he said.
