KDJ, an 8-year-old boy from Bondalem, Tejakula, Buleleng, Bali, was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool on Monday, November 23, 2020.
The victim, who was in second grade in elementary school, fell and drowned in the swimming pool, while his old brother with initial PDKP (17) and his friends were making TikTok video content.
The incident started when KDJ came to a villa with his brother and two colleagues.
They aim to swim and make videos and photos at the villa.
After arriving at the location, the victim played in the pool immediately and he watched by his brother. However, his brother and two colleagues moved away about 8 meters from the location of the pool to make a TikTok video.
At that time, one of his brother’s friend warned him not to play near by the pool.
But the older brother argued, and says that his younger brother could swim.
After 15 minutes of leaving the pool, they did not find the young boy, and they tried to looked for KDJ.
But, sadness, the 8-year-old boy was found drowned at the bottom of a pool which has a depth of 1.4 meters.
The victim evacuated to the Tejakula Community Health Center. From the results of the police investigation, it was found that there were signs of drowning in the victims.
Among other things, the mouth produces foam, discharge from the anus, stiff body, and bruises on the lower forehead.
According to Gede Sumarjaya, the Head Police of Buleleng, the victim died because he got slipped and makes the victim faint.
