As an area prone to erosion and landslides, the Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan planted mangrove trees, Wednesday, November 24, 2020 in Sungai Bella Village, in Kuindra District.
The mangrove planting is carrying out in the context of restoring the national economy under the supervision of the Indragiri Forest Watershed Management and Protection Debt Center.
In his remarks, the Regent said that the activity which began with the Duanu tribe song was peachy to developed.
“This shows the diversity of cultures that we have is fit with government programs in the field of cultural arts.”
The Regent also explained that mangrove planting was necessary to protect the area from erosion.
“May this planting can be followed by the whole community and making our area was protected from erosion. Given that our area is prone to erosion and sponsorship,” said HM Wardan.
