Quoted from Anadolu Agency, Sunday (9 August 2020), the bicycle route is known to extend 25 km in the eastern Mediterranean bay and is said to be one of the longest in Turkey.
The bicycle route connects Samandag and Arsuz, two districts located in southern Turkey. Not only for cyclists, this route is also attractive for tours.
Tolga Ozcelik, one of the tourists who tried the bicycle route in Turkey, feels comfortable cycling in the region. However, there is one note that must be done, namely that drivers are asked to be more obedient and not exceed the safety limit, as reported by Ihlas News Agency.
Another cyclist named Hanifi Tuygar also praised the beauty of the track. From this route, cyclists are said to be able to admire the panoramic views of the forest on one side and the sea on the other.
By local media, the bike path was lined up as the longest in the world. He explained that the route was a way for the Turkish Government to promote a healthy lifestyle and reduce motor vehicle emissions.
Turkey itself is said to be planning to present a bicycle route of 4,775 km in 2023. So far, the Turkish government has created a bicycle route with a total length of 1,150 km.
