Bagus Kahfi reportedly failed to join FC Utrecht after passing the deadline on Friday (27/11/2020).
The frizzy-haired player expressed disappointment on Instagram.
“Because of things I did not understand, my dream had to stop. Promises, promises, promises. Unfortunately, this time it is meaningless,” wrote Bagus Kahfi.
Both Bagus Kahfi and Barito Putera club’s comments column fills with the words from netizens.
Garuda Select Technical Director Dennis Wise also criticized Barito Putera’s attitude as if he had stopped Bagus Kahfi’s dream of having a career in Europe.
“Barito Putera, you have disappointed Bagus for stopping him from realizing his dream in European football,” wrote Dennis Wise.
Other netizens also criticized Barito Putera on his Instagram account.
As observed in the last post on Barito Putera’s Instagram, there have been 11,700 comments that criticize Barito for releasing Bagus Kahfi to FC Utrecht.
Thus far, there hasn’t been an official statement from Barito Putera regarding the cancellation of Bagus Kahfi’s transfer.
Before this news, Bagus Kahfi admitted that he had to have a letter stating that he had left Barito Putera to join FC Utrecht.
It because Bagus still has a contract with Laskar Antasari until 2021.
“For matters of playing in Europe, I have to wait for an outgoing letter from Barito Putera,” said Bagus Kahfi to the media crew, Monday (23/11/2020).
“It because I still have a contract with Barito Putera for the next year,” he said.
FC Utrecht also gave a deadline for Barito Putera to release Bagus Kahfi until Friday (27/11/2020).
Now the deadline has passed, and it is reported that the agreement between Barito Putera and FC Utrecht failed to occur.
