- J-Hope speaking on the fear that comes with being an idol
During an episode of Break The Silence, J-Hope accompanied Jimin on a trip to an iPad store. However, while they were in the car, a staff member told them that they were getting followed by some paparazzi.
J-Hope revealed that these kinds of things scare him.
“Of course, being an idol is…It makes you shine brightly, but it’s accompanied by fear. Sometimes I want to hide or avoid it. At times, I want to let it go,” J-Hope said.
- Suga talking about the burden of BTS’s popularity
BTS’s popularity is truly world-class, but Suga revealed that he often feels burdened due to their reputation.
Suga also spoke about how he wished that people would see them as just ordinary people.
- V talking about his painful skin disease
V revealed that he suffers from cholinergic urticaria, which is an itchy skin rash. Cholinergic urticaria is an itchy skin rash that is triggered by rises in body temperature. When an afflicted person gets too warm, then their skin breaks out in hives. - RM revealing that they used to embarrassed of their group name
During their guest appearance on the finale of I-LAND, RM spoke about how BTS’s group name (Bangtan Sonyeondan, meaning Bulletproof Boyscouts) was a painful memory in their pre-debut days.
RM revealed that they didn’t tell anyone but their family and friends about their group name for 3 years!
“For us, we have a painful memory, from when we didn’t tell anyone except our family and friends about our name for three years during that time,” RM said.
