Antonio Canova’s Gypsotheca Museum in Possagno, Italy recently released footage of an awkward 50-year-old tourist from Austria.
He appears to be breaking the toes of the 200-year-old statue while taking the photo.

The authorities immediately summoned the man.
The perpetrator confessed his actions and apologized for.
He also offered to pay for the restoration of the statue.
