Inhil-Deputy Regent (Wabup) of Indragiri Hilir, Syamsuddin Uti said that during 2020, the poverty rate reduction 6 percent.
This was explained by Syamsuddin when attending a coordination meeting to discuss poverty reduction with the Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPK).
“Of the total population of Indragiri Hilir of 749,813 in Riau Province, Indragiri Hilir has reduction the poverty rate by 6 percent,” said the Deputy Regent.
This issue, said the Deputy Regent, shows that in the midst of a pandemic, Indragiri Hilir can reach that number, which is a good thing.
“With the reduction in poverty in Indragiri Hilir in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, we hope that the desired target will be achieved,” he hoped.
