THERE is bad news for men who have contracted Covid-19 because the virus is said to cause impotence!
In a recent interview, a doctor, Dr. Dena Grayson explained, in the long term, the effect of the virus can make men experience sexual problems.
“We know that former Covid-19 patients will experience long-term health effects including neurological complications. Impotence in men is also one of them. This is because the dangerous virus triggers problems with blood vessels. This means that the virus does not only kill but has the potential to cause other problems for life,” he said.
For those who still doubt the ‘greatness’ of this virus, it will cause lung problems, organ failure, and even death.
However, there are still a few who consider it harmless and ignore established SOPs such as maintaining social imprisonment, not wearing face masks, and so on.
Returning to the previous question, how can Covid-19 affect male sexuality?
It’s not easy to prove how many former Covid-9 sufferers have impotence, but a study published last July through the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation also mentions the same thing.
It all goes back to the penis tightening process itself which is the flow of blood to the organs.
In general, Covid-19 affects blood flow to these vital organs, including the part of the penis that can affect erection.
However, there is still much research being done to prove this theory. But if so, it is also a reminder that death is not the only thing to worry about.
On the other hand, for survivors, it can still cause serious health effects in the long term.
