Super Junior recently guested on an episode of Knowing Brothers, and during the episode, Donghae spoke about his past fight with Heechul.
It began when the members were talking about some of the most memorable moments in their careers, and when it was Donghae’s turn, he stated that his fight with Heechul in the past stood out the most.
Donghae then shared that Heechul was the one that hit him first. However, Yesung then gave a hilarious comment when he said that he had heard that Heechul actually scratched Donghae instead of punching him.
After Yesung’s comment, Donghae began talking about the fight and explained how in the past, Heechul dreamt about being an actor. Not only that, but Heechul constantly apologized to the members and told them that he couldn’t stay in the group due to the doubts he had.
When Super Junior was preparing for their fourth album, Donghae asked Heechul to stay in the group. However, Heechul told the members that he was going to leave and that they shouldn’t look for him, and Heechul then proceeded to leave their house.
When Heechul was preparing to leave, Donghae told him, “Don’t even think about coming back. The moment you leave, you’re nothing to me. I won’t even call you hyung. I’ll just call you Kim Heechul“.
However, Heechul still ended up leaving.
Not long after, Heechul came back to their house, and he and Donghae got into a fight. Donghae explained that Heechul hit him on the back of his neck.
While Donghae didn’t want to hit someone older than him, he was too furious, and he ended up kicking Heechul.
Donghae then explained that Heechul had grabbed his neck and that it scratched him. Heechul then revealed that after Donghae kicked him, he thought it was his turn to hit him back.
However, when Heechul was preparing to retaliate, Donghae began crying, as he told Heechul, “I really thought of you as my hyung“.
Heechul then shared that they took a picture after fighting.
Donghae elaborated and shared that after he began crying, they both went to their rooms. After a few minutes, Donghae came out of his room and went to apologize to Heechul. After this, the two decided to take a photo together. Lee Soo Geun then asked Heechul why he came back to their house in the first place, and Heechul shared that it was too cold outside.
