BLACKPINK is supposed to hold an online concert titled The Show on December 27, 2020. However, this concert will be a delay. The news of the delay was conveyed directly by BLACKPINK through a video uploaded on its social media. Korea is currently implementing a protocol to prohibit the public gathering of more than 10 people to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The protocol is running until December 28, 2020, so BLACKPINK’s online concert must be affected. Through the uploaded video, the members announced new dates for their online concert.
“We are impatient to meet the BLINKs, but we are following the rules for preventing COVID-19 from the Korean government, and to ensure a safer appearance, we have to delay The Show which was supposed to be held on December 27, 2020, to January 31, 2021,” said Jisoo.
“Through The Show’s concert, we want to provide entertainment to BLINKs in this difficult time,” continued Lisa.
But the most important thing, said Rose, is the safety and health of the people, which were directly involved in holding The Show concerts. Thus, the concert was delayed.
At the end of the video, BLACKPINK also took the time to thank the medical staff who have been battling COVID-19. They also pray for the health of the BLINKs.
The show will be delayed until January 31, 2021, and become live streaming via YouTube. The event is held at 12.00 WIB.
The ticket was available to purchase until now by joining as a member on YouTube’s official BLACKPINK account. For 2 months of membership, BLINKs needs to pay around IDR 450 thousand for a standard membership.
Meanwhile, for membership plus, fans will need to pay around Rp. 600 thousand. Later, fans will get behind the scene access from the concert.
