Srinivas Gupta, a businessman from Karnataka, India wowed everyone.
When he put up a silicone wax figure of his late wife in his new home during a house warming ceremony.
In his memory, Gupta wanted to make sure his wife was with him at one of the most important moments of his life.
In 2017, his wife, Madhavi, was traveling to the city of Tirupati with her two daughters.
However, they had a fatal car accident.
While her daughter suffered minor injuries, Madhavi did not survive, reports India.
While he was alive, Madhavi’s dream was to own a bungalow and Gupta wanted to make that dream come true.
He then decided to build a house in his memory.
Even Gupto took his wife with him after he was done.
“It’s great to have another wife in my house because this is the house of his dreams.”
“It took an artist Shreedhar Murthy from Bengaluru a year to prepare the statue of my wife. Silicon was used for the sculpture to make it durable,” said Gupta.
“Our artist advised me to have a silicone sculpture instead of a wax statue because we live in Koppal which is a hot place”.
“and the air conditioner (AC) can’t be opened all the time to keep the candles. So as recommended, we prepared a silicone sculpture.”
Photos and videos of the realistic sculpture went viral on social media.
Many netizens expressed their admiration for the Gupta award for his wife.
