After went missing on Sunday afternoon, two minor girls were allegedly raped by two teenagers in the forest area of Kolar locality, India. Victims, aged 14 and 16, are residents of Kolar locality and they are neighbours. Around 4 pm on Sunday, they went missing from home.
Before, their parents lodged a missing person’s complaint with Kolar police on Monday afternoon, after which, the girls were traced by police at night.
Investigating officer SI Anjana Dhurve said that their mothers approached cops on Monday afternoon. “In the police station, the survivor’s parents came to know that both the girls went missing at the same time,” said SI Dhurve.
SI said acting on their complaint, police started investigation to rescue the teenagers.
The girls were rescued on Monday night.
In their statements to police, they alleged that the 16-year-old girl’s friend had called her near Amarnath Colony to meet him. She went to meet him along with the 14-year-old survivor.
The accused came along with another minor and they took the girls to forest area on the pretext of walking in Kolar locality.
When they reached an isolated spot, the accused left the spot around 10pm leaving the girls.
The terrified girls stayed in a temple on Sunday night and later they were rescued by police when they were returning home.
The girls told police that they came in contact with the accused 3 months ago.
