A woman from Gujarat, India, named Geeta Parmar was arrested.
She became the cause of her husband’s suicide.
Even though when the incident happened, Geeta herself was not with her husband.
As quoted from the Mirror, it was her husband’s mother who accused Geeta of being the cause of the death of her son, Surendrasinh.
The victim died about a month ago.
The mother of her husband then reported the 32-year-old woman to the police.
With the excuse of “refusing to have sex with her husband”, causing the husband to stress and commit suicide.
Her husband’s mother also accused Geeta of “encouraging suicide” to her husband, Surendrasinh.
Because of these accusations, the police then arrested and detained Geeta.
Surendasinh’s mother, Muli, told the police that the couple had not slept together.
Her mother-in-law blamed the 32-year-old woman for the tragedy.
Police arrested him in Gujarat, reports the Times of India.
In the criminal suit, Surendrasinh’s mother, Muli Parmar, admitted that the husband and wife had not slept together for 22 months.
According to him, this made his son feel depressed and decided to end his own life.
According to Muli, this made Geeta and Surendasinh start to fight frequently.
In addition, this also made the marriage relationship even more disharmonious.
Geeta then decided to return to her parents’ house and leave Surendasinh.
Because of this incident, Surendasinh then blocked his wife’s phone number.
But in fact, these things actually made Surendasinh feel depressed.
On 27 July Surendasinh then decided to end his life by hanging himself.
