The Indonesian government has allowed schools in the yellow zone to open face-to-face learning.
However, there are a number of requirements that must be followed by residents in the education unit.
These requirements are stated in the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) on the Guidelines for Implementation of Learning in 2020 up to 2021 Academic Year and 2020 up to 2021 Academic Year during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease Pandemic (COVID-19).
Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi, Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian have also pressed this SKB on August 7, 2020.
Before coming to school, each education unit is advised to use a three-layer cloth mask.
Residents in the school environment were also asked to bring spare masks.
“Make sure to use a 3 (three) layer or 2 (two) layer cloth mask filled with tissue properly and bring a spare mask and bring wrappers for dirty masks,” wrote one point.
Everyone who wants to go to school is also asked to have breakfast.
Furthermore, they must also be in good health and the body temperature is not more and equal to 37.3 degrees Celsius.

In addition, when teaching and learning activities take place everyone in the school is required to use personal learning utensils and cutlery.
Students are also prohibited from borrowing school equipment from others.
“Using personal learning tools, musical instruments, and eating and drinking utensils. Borrowing equipment is prohibited,” he wrote.
Furthermore, everyone in school must always wear a mask and maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

Nadiem Makarim said learning in the yellow zone must be carried out with strict Health protocol requirements.
“We and three other ministries (Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Health) have implemented the expansion of face-to-face learning for the yellow zone.
