Just days before NCT’s Beyond LIVE concert, SM Entertainment has announced that Taeyong will not participate in the upcoming schedule. Taeyong was confirmed not to attend because of his recurrent injury.
SM Entertainment announced that NCT would be holding a Beyond LIVE concert titled “NCT: Resonance: Global Wave,” which will broadcast on Sunday, December 27 at 3 p.m. KST. The event made fans excited to see the entire group perform together as 23.
However, SM Entertainment has announced that Taeyong will be absent from the concert due to a relapsing hip disc injury. According to reports, Taeyong’s injury occurred before NCT debuted, and in the past, the members revealed that he often complained of back pain.
Recently, fans saw signs that the injury could reappear. Many said he is appeared limping, withholding waist wearing braces, and showing signs of pain and discomfort during his schedule.
Taeyong also took a hiatus from music shows in June this year due to health reasons, although SM Entertainment did not specify whether the waist injury was the cause. SM Entertainment has asked fans for patience and understanding, assuring them that the company will do its best to ensure Taeyong receives successful treatment and recovers well.
