A man with a simple look in a t-shirt and flip-flops admitted that he was buying an iPhone 12 Pro. However, the shop clerk was reluctantly serving him because of his appearance.
The man expressed his frustration at the shop through the TikTok @ julio.ioio account.
He admitted that initially, he went to a mall in South Jakarta to buy clothes. The clothes planned given to his mother and nephew because they will be traveling to Bali.
After buying clothes, he stopped at a cellphone shop that specialized in iPhone. However, his arrival did not get rave reviews from the employees.
“But the employees in there are not welcome because I wear clothes like this, wear t-shirts and flip-flops,” Julio said as quoted by Suara.com, Friday (25/12/2020).
At the shop, he had time to look at the iPhone 12 Pro. When he asked about the difference between the iPhone 12 Pro and the previous series, the shop clerk ignored him.
“The staff there are not friendly, so I asked the difference between iPhone 11 and 12, and they didn’t answer,” he said.
Out of curiosity, Julio ordered the iPhone 12 Pro. After seeing the cellphone for less than a minute, Julio immediately asked the employee to prepare a new unit.
“I bought this iPhone 12 Pro not more a minute and said ‘I want this one with gold color one,'” he said.
However, the shop clerk still ignored him. Instead, he asked other employees to get rid of Julio.
Because Julio’s appearance, who only wore a t-shirt and flip-flops, did not convince him that he could buy the iPhone 12 Pro for IDR 18 million.
“Just imagine that you just didn’t believe it until this lady said to her friend, ‘Hey, please take care of this person,'” he said.
Julio advised the shop clerk not to underestimate someone just because of their appearance.
“I want to say, not serving someone from the appearance, but we do have the heart to serve,” he said.
The video immediately went viral on social media and attracted public attention.
