The name pies are usually made with a mixture of fruit or other sweet foods. For example, chocolate pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, or lemon pie. But there are also salty pies made with a mixture of animal protein. For example, chicken pot pie (chicken pie in a dish) or meat pie (meat pie) made of beef and pork.
Ingredients for Pie (10 servings):
500 grams of all-purpose flour
150 grams of unsalted butter (unsalted butter)
100 grams of margarine
50 grams of grated cheddar cheese
50 grams of rice flour
4 tablespoons of ice water
1 chicken egg yolk
1 teaspoon fine salt
Pie Stuffing:
300 ml of liquid milk
150 grams of ground beef
100 grams of peas
100 ml of cream
6 sheets of smoked cheese, roughly chopped (optional)
4 chicken eggs
4 pieces of beef sausage, cut into 1cm thick rounds
2 tablespoons butter for sauteing
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 onion, roughly chopped
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
How to Make Pie Crust:
1. Mix unsalted butter, margarine, and rice flour. Mix well.
2. Pour in the flour, grated cheddar cheese, salt, ice water, and chicken eggs. Stir with a fork until it forms a grained dough.
3. Knead the pie dough by hand until it is slightly smooth, then store it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4. Remove the pie dough from the refrigerator, then grind with a rolling pin until thin. Prick with a fork.
5. Print the dough on a round pan that has been smeared with margarine.
6. Reserving 1/4 of the dough to make the crust of the pie.
7. Bake the pies in the pan in the oven until half cooked, about 30 minutes.
How to Make Pie Filling:
1. While waiting for the pie crust to bake, make the filling. Heat the margarine to taste, then saute the onions until fragrant.
2. Add ground beef, sausage, macaroni, and peas. Season with salt and nutmeg. Stir until well blended.
3. Add the beaten chicken eggs with liquid milk, smoked cheese (optional), and cream. Stir until thickened.
Settlement:
1. Pour the filling ingredients into the baked pie.
2. Grind the rest of the pie crust, then cover it on the pie pan. Cut the edges to make it look neat.
3. Bake the pie for about 50 minutes or until cooked.
Serve beef pie or beef pie while it’s still warm. Can also be equipped with mashed potatoes and boiled carrots.
