Paris Saint-Germain’s star Neymar has denied allegations that he was holding a large-scale New Year’s Eve party that attended by 500 guests.
Instead, the Brazilian international uploaded a short video of a simple dinner preparation with family and close friends via Instagram Story.
The 29-year-old also claimed that all his guests were tested for the Covid-19 virus ahead of the moderate ceremony.
He also suggested that guests practice social distance.
Earlier, media reports stated that Neymar organized a closed party by inviting 500 guests to a mansion in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro.
Following that, Neymar was heavily criticized by Brazilians.
This is because the country is one of the countries that recorded the highest number of Covid-19 cases with almost 195,000 deaths due to the virus to date.
