Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa spent his independent isolation period by exercising and washing clothes. Khofifah had to self-isolate because she was exposed to COVID-19.

Khofifah also reminded all residents to follow strict health protocols.
“Let us continue to look after each other and remind us to continue to be disciplined in wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. May all of us be given health favors by Allah SWT, “said Khofifah.
Regarding Khofifah’s exposure, the Task Force conducted a search for people who had close contact with the East Java governor.
“We don’t know where he is, because the Governor’s activity is very high. Even this one month he is full of activities, and interacts with the community,” said the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of East Java Province, Aries Agung Paewai.
According to Aries, Khofifah’s activities in a month are very busy. Among them are activities in efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery.
“She also routinely checks directly several hospitals for the handling of COVID-19 patients. Then, she focuses on economic recovery in East Java. These two things are carried out regularly by her,” he said.
But Aries made sure Khofifah and all entourage always implemented strict health protocols (prokes). Both activities at the Grahadi State building, and when out of town.

Meanwhile, the Head of the East Java COVID-19 Handling Task Force Tracing Team, Kohar Hari Santoso, said that currently his party is continuing to carry out tracing efforts. This was done to break the chain of spreading COVID-19.
