One Piece Manga on Monday (4/1) was officially release 1,000th chapter. Now, One Piece fans are happy and celebrating this in cyberspace.
The release of the 1,000th round is a special moment for One Piece. The manga released in 1997 is the second-fastest work to reach that phase after Edomae no Shun.
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, expressed his gratitude to the readers who have followed the story of Luffy until the thousand.
“Today, January 4, One Piece has reached the thousandth round. We are very grateful for your support. Thank you to all the readers who have followed us,” said Oda through his representative.
Through various tweets in cyberspace, Monday (4/1), fans rejoiced at the release of One Piece chapter 1,000 and thanked Oda for the work.
“Thank you, Oda, for creating such a beautiful universe and working hard for 23 years. We are happy to know your extraordinary work and very happy to be a part of his fans. We will follow this journey to the end,” said one fan.
“Even though I have only been part of a fan for three years, I met many people here and in the real world because of One Piece, and it was a fun journey. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, One Piece,” said another fan.
Oda Signs Shanks Appearing in One Piece Chapter 1,000
On December 20, Eiichiro Oda confirmed the 1,000th chapter of One Piece finished. It was ready to entertain his fans in early 2021.
“One Piece will soon reach chapter 1,000! Like this statement, I have finished the script from chapter 1,000 and will soon meet with the voice actors,” he said, who also said he had canceled doing it because of the impossible situation.
“However, even though I’m not there, the script for chapter 1,000 is more than just finished. Is that cool? Chapter 1,000 will be published in the first edition of [Shonen Jump] new year !” he continued.
“What a great time! Along with the celebration of chapter 1,000, there will be many projects still in progress. So the first month of 2021 will be a lot of fun! Volume 100 will be releasing in 2021, so it will be an extraordinary moment,” said Oda.
