High tidal waves in Kuala Selat Village, Kateman District, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau broken 24 houses, and a canteen market.
Bad weather is in the form of large waves, and strong winds occurred on Friday (1/1/2020) at around 11.30 WIB.
“As a result of bad weather, 24 houses, a canteen, and several timber roads destroyed,” said Head of Kuala Selat Village, Imam Taufik.
Not only that, but the big waves also damaged the mole of the residents’ plantation in Parit Berkat as high as 1.30 meters.
“We, from the Village Government, hope that the Regional, Provincial and Central Governments will immediately assist with the relocation of proper housing,” he hoped.
He hopes to accelerate the manufacture of breakwater mechanics and landslide barriers.
