The service for creating population documents manually at the Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukpencapil) Inhil will be closed.
The discourse on closing this service is based on the online service that has been opened by Disdukpencapil Inhil.
“We have planned to close manual services and we are focused on online services,” said the Head of Disdukpencapil Inhil, Mizwar Efendi through Inhil Disdukpencapil Secretary Nursal Sulaiman on Friday, January 8, 2021.
The closure of this service is expected to be carried out in July 2021, but to make this happen, of course, Inhil Disdukpencapil will continue to study while asking for opinions and suggestions from the Director General of Dukcapil.
“We see the online service that is currently running, if it is stable and presumably it has been approved by the Director General, then in July we can close the manual service,” he explained.
The former Head of Public Relations of the Inhil Regency Government explained to focus online services and also minimize the practice of brokering that is difficult to detect by the Department of Population and Civil Registration and makes it easier for people who are far away to get services for processing population documents.
Besides that, continued Nursal, according to regulations it is indeed possible that the management of population administration can be done from their respective homes because currently all documents already use Electronic Signature (TTE).
“In Law No. 24/2013, it is also stated that to carry out population administration management services, village and sub-district registration officers can be appointed,” he concluded.
