Tembilahan Police in Indragiri Hilir arrested a suspected meth-type narcotics suspect with the initials AO, in Tembilahan Hilir Village, Tembilahan District.
The chronology of the arrests as told by the Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Tembilahan Police Chief, Ipda Raudo Perdana said the information on the circulation of methamphetamine around Jalan R Soebrantas was obtained from the public.
“After that, our members from the Tembilahan Police Criminal Investigation Unit led by the Head of the Tembilahan Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Bripka Ahmaluddin, conducted an investigation and an arrest. It is known that the suspected perpetrator was at his house,” said Ipda Raudo.
The perpetrator was said to have been successfully secured and conducted a search in the presence of the RT head and local residents.
“From the results of the search, it was found that 1 plastic wrap containing clear crystal fragments suspected of shabu was wrapped in green and yellow plastic with a gross weight of 1.27 grams, 1 unit of motorbike, cellphone and some cash in a wallet,” he said.
The perpetrator and evidence have been secured at the Tembilahan Police Headquarters for further investigation and investigation.
