The smell of sperm becomes a reason for this man to kill his girlfriend because the perpetrator believed that his girlfriend had sex with another man.
The perpetrator named Bayu Adi Irawan, 32, a resident of Malang. Meanwhile, the victim is Irine Siska Windiyati, 43, a resident of Taman Resident, Sidoarjo.
“The murder incident occurred on Sunday. However, the victim’s body was found on Wednesday ” said Sidoarjo Police Chief, Kombes Sumardji, to reporters on Friday.
Sumardji said that this incident started when the perpetrator came to the victim’s house on Saturday.
The perpetrator came all the way from Malang to the victim’s house. When he entering that house, it turned out that there were two other men in the house. And when seeing the perpetrator’s arrival, the two men rushed out of the house. And it makes the perpetrator was jealous.
Sumardji added that even though he was jealous, but the perpetrator did not convey it directly to the victim. The perpetrator even invited the victim to come to his drinking party. And the next day, the perpetrator asked the victim to have another alcohol party.
“During the drinking party, the perpetrator suddenly smelled sperm in the living room of the victim’s house,” added Sumardji.
The two of them then argued, and the perpetrator accused the victim of having an affair with another man.
The perpetrator then tackled the victim. After falling, the victim was smothered with his hands until he ran out of breath and died. After killing, the perpetrator fled while carrying the victim’s car.
“The perpetrator was arrested in Surabaya. The perpetrator was charged under Article 338 with the threat of 15 years in prison,” said Sumardji.
