Production Division Officer of the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tirta Indragiri will clean or drain the reservoir located in Pulau Palas Village, Tembilahan Hulu District on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
This was conveyed by the Director of PDAM Tirta Indragiri, Ahmad Hafiz, Thursday, January 21, 2021.
He said that the drainage of the reservoir should have been done by Perumda to maintain the quality of water production so that clarity is maintained.
According to him, draining the reservoir will stop distribution to customers throughout the Tembilahan area for one day.
Ahmad Hafiz appealed to customers in the affected areas (Tembilahan, red) to collect water while it is still flowing as supplies.
“Because during the cleaning activity, water production will be temporarily stopped. If the work is completed, distribution to customers will return to normal and smooth and clean,” he said.
