The high intensity of the rain that flushed caused flooding to be high enough to reach the settlements and houses of the community in Kuala Gaung Village, Gaung Anak Serka sub-district, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency.
Syarif, Head of Kuala Gaung Village, said that the flood this time was the worst flood that hit Kuala Gaung Village.
“This is the first time Kuala Gaung village has been flooded this high. This is the impact of large tides and heavy rains all day. It’s been decades, recently the village head of Kuala Gaung said on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
The flood has now submerged several residents’ houses and schools in Kuala Gaung Village.
