As people get older, some people experience hair loss which makes the crown of the head look thin and even bald.
No need to panic, because there are several ways you can nourish your hair.
One of them is by using essential oils. There are several choices of essential oils that can help promote hair growth, including rosemary, bergamot, jojoba, peppermint, chamomile, ylang-ylang, lavender, sage, and almond oil.
Because they are made from natural ingredients, essential oils tend to be safe for everyday use. However, make sure you buy a quality product for optimal results. After that, dissolve it with a carrier oil to dilute the essential oil and make it safer to use it directly on the skin.
Some common carrier oils include olive, coconut, or argan oil. When mixed, the essential oils are not too thick and thick so that they can be applied directly to the scalp and hair shaft.
How to use it is fairly easy.
You can take 2-3 drops of the oil mixture and rub it on your palms. After that massage, all parts of the scalp starting from the front, middle, sides, to the back. Massage the head for three minutes then let it sit.
Most essential oils are quick enough to absorb so you don’t have to worry about dripping on your face or clothes. However, if it is not comfortable, you can wrap your head in a towel or shower cap.
You can leave the essential oil on your head for 15 minutes before shampooing or even leave it on overnight. If you want to sleep, cover the pillow with a towel so it doesn’t absorb the oil.
For optimal results, do this method regularly, 2-3 times a week. You can also try different types of essential oils to see which one works best.
