When it comes to getting more followers and achieving virality, people seem to go at ridiculous lengths.
This US model for instance, she literally chose to pose at the edge of the world’s largest waterfall for a photoshoot.
The student seen in the photoshoot is named Amairis Rose and her bikini photoshoot has set fire online.
Rose who hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania visited the popular tourist attraction Devil’s Pool on the edge of Victoria Falls ( 1640ft deep waterfall) in the month of December, according to reports.
The 25-year-old Master’s student was photographed holding her arms over the edge of the fall as water surges down the drop.
Devil’s Pool is on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, the world’s largest waterfall. It is a deep, natural pool that has been created by thousands of years of erosion.
To swim in Devil’s Pool, the water level has to be really low and is normally available from late August to early January.
Rose posted daring shots of herself hanging over the edge of Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls in Zambia. Breath-taking footage shows the 25-year-old student holding her arms over the edge as water surges past and down the sheer drop. Amairis, from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, said, “I wasn’t afraid at all, it was all very safe. If anything it felt very liberating being at the edge of such a huge waterfall.”
Many slammed the behaviour and urged her not to do it ‘just to gain followers’. Some even claimed Amairis was ‘influencing young people to put their lives at risk for likes’.
It was not long before Amairis decided to answer her critics. She said the shoot was ‘cool. “I wasn’t afraid at all, it was all very safe. If anything it felt very liberating being at the edge of such a huge waterfall,” she said
The waterfall is a popular tourist destination. However, photo ops at the edge of the waterfall are mostly done with the assistance of guides.
