The Department of Trade and Industry (Disdagtri) of Indragiri Hilir Regency (Inhil) ensures that the 3 Kilograms of LPG gas stock is sufficient for community needs.
This statement was conveyed directly by the Head of Disdagtri Inhil Regency, Dhoan Dwi Anggara to the media crew in his office, Jalan Veteran, Tembilahan, recently.
He explained that there are 4 categories of subsidized gas recipients, including target households, namely the poor, then micro-businesses, target fishermen, and target farmers.
The purpose of micro-businesses here, he continued, is those who work with low profits such as selling fried foods, and others. This means that it is not a type of business with high profits.
For that, he hopes that people will be aware of themselves not using the gas. Especially for the needs of middle to upper businesses, for example, restaurants.
On another occasion, Head of Section for Stabilization of Prices of Staple Goods and Important Goods, Ifdiarman, when confirmed, Monday, February 1, 2021, explained that the achievement of the 3 Kg LPG gas distribution for last year had been met.
“The gas quota in Indragiri Hilir reaches 13,097 Metric Tons or the equivalent of 4,365,667 cylinders. If we refer to the poor, our gas quota is excessive, because gas recipients are not only poor people, there are also microeconomic businesses, so on average a year is met” he explained.
“Because when compared to the poor, our gas quota is higher, while the number of poor people is only around 28 thousand and our gas quota reaches millions,” he added.
