A man has killed his wife and her daughter before dying in a car crash in Kilmarnock.
The man named Steven Robertson, 40, is said to have murdered NHS worker Emma Robertson Coupland, 39, at Crosshouse Hospital at around 7.45 pm on Thursday.
He then attacked Nicole Anderson, 24, on Portland Street 20 minutes later. She was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital but was pronounced dead a short while later.
Robertson then died in a car crash on the C50, between the B7036 and the A76 at around 8.30 pm.
