The conflict between Dewi Tanjung and former Minister Of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti is getting heated.
Dewi said that that she can make Susi drowned.
‘Drown it’ was one of the hit icons when Susi was still active as the Minister Of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This activity is related to Susi’s decisive action of burning and sinking illegal fishing boats.
Because of her popularity, netizens then made her memes by including Susi’s face in it. The themes also vary, ranging from serious topics, such as politics and law, to today’s teenagers’ love life.
This time, Dewi Tanjung is angry because Susi is considered to have forgotten her past as part of the Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration. Susi is now different because she often criticizes the government.
“Susi, you might sink a fishing boat, but you won’t be able to sink Dewi Tanjung”, tweeted Dewi on her Twitter account @DTanjung15.
“But I was able to drown Susi Pudjiastuti because I do not have the burden of sin on the little people. And I defend the truth, the people and the Republic of Indonesia”, tweeted Dewi.
On her Twitter @susipudjiastuti, the founder of Susi Air did not respond much. While including a report in the media, Susi only gave 8 thumbs up emojis.
The ‘war’ on Twitter began when Susi called on her followers to unfollow social media activists, Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda because of alleged racism against a Papuan figure, Natalius Pigai. Including criticism of the current government.
On her Twitter @DTanjung15, Dewi Tanjung said that Susi should not have acted like that because she had been part of the government in the previous period. She even uploaded a picture of Susi with several ministers including Anies Baswedan who had served as Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud).
“I thought that Susi was not like the ministers who had been fired. It turned out to be the same. As soon as she left her position, she immediately defected to the ‘next neighbor’ and started attacking the government policy. It turns out that the position has blinded the hearts of those who should defend the people and the country”, said Dewi Tanjung on Twitter quoted Thursday, February 4.
Susi did not comment much on Dewi’s tweets. Dewi then quipped Susi, as if what she had done after leaving the ministerial position was based on a heartache.
“I am not a person who is easily hurt because I do not get a position, for me, the peace and integrity of the country are above all else”, tweeted Dewi.
