Roman Shirokov, the former captain of the Russian national team, is again viral because of his inappropriate actions against the referee during a match.
He beat the referee, who had to be hospitalized.
Roman Shirokov at that time appeared in an amateur tournament entitled the Moscow Celebrity Cup.
The 39 men has recorded 57 caps for the Russian national team, including being captain at the 2016 European Cup against Wales.
He defends the Match TV team, which is a television station where he now works as a football pundit.
In the match in the quarter-finals, Roman Shirokov was apparently not satisfied with the actions of referee Nikita Danchenko.
His anger exploded, until then he sent a raw bogem and even a kick.
An eyewitness said that Roman Shirokov initially threatened Nikita Danchenko, who appeared to be about to pull out a card.
“If you take a red card, I’ll give you this,” said Shirokov, raising a fist.
When the court actually wanted to take a red card, Shirokov responded with a raw punch in the face of Danchenko.
Not only that, even after the referee fell onto the field, Shirokov became even more blind.
He threw a number of kicks at the sprawling Danchenko.
The other players quickly intervened and escorted Shirokov away.
Referee Danchenko himself was treated by medical staff on the ground before being rushed to the hospital by an ambulance.
Then the parties concerned stopped the fight.
According to reports in Russia, the referee suffered a number of injuries.
Through Instagram, referee Nikita Danchenko also admitted to spending 4.5 hours in the hospital, 15-20 minutes in the emergency room.
As a result of his actions, now Roman Shirokov himself is not only harvesting insults, but also being suspended from Match TV where he works.
