Head of the Class II-A Tembilahan Penitentiary, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, said that he would routinely conduct searches of the detainees.
He said it will increase supervision of prison officers and Correctional Assistants (WBP) specifically for drug cases.
“One of them routinely conducts searches to clean cellphone communication devices. We will also reinforce prison officers.”
His party will also carry out early detection of the circulation of narcotics in Tembilahan Prison by strengthening synergy with the police and BNNP and other related agencies.
Currently, he said that the Class IIA Tembilahan Prison is making improvements in all aspects, especially those related to improving the service system for the Correctional Assistance Citizens.
“We are doing improvements, starting from officers, WBP, and improving facilities in supporting correctional services at Tembilahan Prison,” he concluded.
