To celebrate the Commemoration of the 2021 National Press Day and the 75th Anniversary of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), PWI Indragiri Hilir Regency held a Journalistic Tour with the theme “Potential for Mabloe Reef Beach Tourism and Cultural Tourism of the Duanu Tribe” in Sungai Bela Village, Kuindra District, Inhil on Tuesday, 9 February 2021.
The chairman of PWI Inhil, Ardiansyah, in his speech expressed his gratitude to all parties who have collaborated to make this journalistic tour event possible.
“Initially we from PWI Inhil only wanted to make a small salvation, but after communicating with Mr. Hasan, the Head of Disparporabud Pak Junaidi, the Chairman of the DPRD and others, the commemoration of the National Press Day as well as the 75th Anniversary of PWI was carried out,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Sungai Bela Village Agusman in his remarks congratulated the National Press Day for all members of the press, especially PWI Inhil. Hopefully it will be more advanced and prosperous.
“And thank you for choosing Sungai Bela Village as the venue for this journalistic tourism event. I need to inform you, Mabloe reef beach is a blessing from Allah for the people of Sungai Martial Village,” he said.
He hopes that Mabloe Reef beach can get more attention from the local government of Indragiri Hilir.
“Hopefully, Lake Mablu Beach will become the second Solop Beach to become a tourist destination in Indragiri Hilir,” he added.
The Regent of Indragiri Hilir Regency represented by the Regional Secretary Afrizal appreciated the commemoration of National Press Day and PWI Anniversary in Indragiri Hilir.
“The local government is currently incessantly promoting the Mabloe Reef beach. So this journalistic tour is very appropriate. I hope the Mabloe reef beach can be better known by the public,” said Afrizal.
Afrizal hopes that related agencies can support this activity following possible opportunities to increase tourist destinations in Indragiri Hilir district.
Just to note, this series of activities includes exploration of the Duanu tribe culture, distribution of staples, reforestation marked by planting mangrove seedlings, and exploration of Mabloe Reef Beach.
